HKR 2019

Final result after the 1st run

Norwegian racer Henrik Kristoffersen is in the lead with a time of 55.87, relegating the two Austrians Michael Matt and Marcel Hirscher to second and third place. Matt took the demanding course in his stride:

“I’m pleased with my run. I’ll pull out all the stops again for the second one”

...he says in the finish area, motivated. There’s not much more Hirscher can do about his third place now that he’s 1,05 seconds behind. Last year, though, the athlete from Salzburg raced to victory despite a similar situation. Nail-biting moments are guaranteed.

„My run was ok. Now I need to lay down another good performance for the deciding finale”

...says Kristoffersen

Marco Schwarz and Manuel Feller landed in 11th and 13th place, a good starting position for the second run, which begins at 13:30.
