Hahnenkamm Reception

A warm welcome was prepared at the foot of the Streif for our honorary guests from the worlds of sport and business. K.S.C President, Michael Huber, welcomed those in attendance with the words:

“We strive to work with nature, and not against nature.“

All present were in a buoyant mood after the changes to the race programme. “It was a good decision to reschedule the races. Congratulations to the Organizing Committee,“ said ÖSC President Schröcksnadel.

Special thanks also go to the military staff and Army Sports Centre for their tireless efforts at the Hahnenkamm races.

In addition to former Hahnenkamm winners such as Ken Read, Sepp Ferstl and Christian Neureuther with Rosi Mittermaier, ORF Sports Director Hans Peter Trost, FIS Secretary General Sarah Lewis and the Provincial Governor Günther Platter were warmly welcomed. LH Platter rounded off the welcome reception with a brief statement:

"You did everything right here".
