Listen to the Streif

Wolfgang Slavik, Sebastian Kaufmann und Chris Cummins
20.01.2026

A live audio streaming service is available for all races. Wolfgang Slavik and Sebastian Kaufmann also provide behind-the-scenes information during our live radio coverage, while Chris Cummins ensures that all races can be heard in English.

Kitzbühel Ski Club has been offering live audio coverage of the races and downhill training sessions since 2011, with this year marking the 15th consecutive year of this highly appreciated service. This makes it possible for blind and visually impaired ski fans to follow the action, as well as for anyone on the move without access to a television. The Audio2 team, led by Wolfgang Slavik and Sebastian Kaufmann, makes the excitement of the live stream not only audible but genuinely tangible. The team also delivers insightful, helpful and entertaining background information on the 86th Hahnenkamm Races around the clock.

In cooperation with ORF, the live audio description is broadcast on ORF 1 second audio channel via online livestream and on the 89.3 MHz local radio frequency.

The Streif in English

Race commentary in English is provided by Chris Cummins. This year, the Brit takes on the role for the eleventh time for our international listeners. His personal highlight came on 22 January 2022, when compatriot Dave Ryding won the Slalom on the Ganslern – the first World Cup victory for a British skier since the inception of the World Cup. The livestream is free to access worldwide. Click here to go directly to the live streams.
