First Downhill Training on the Streif

French athlete, Adrien Theaux, tops the board 21 hundredths of a second ahead of Hannes Reichelt and Aksel Lund Svindal (NOR). After „sampling“ the Streif for the first time, Hannes Reichelt is still undecided as to which line he will take, preferring to make his mind up on race day when he knows what form he is in: „If I am lucky, I will be in good shape.“ Last year’s winner, Kjetil Jansrud from Norway, gives a more relaxed impression. He looked closed at the well-known key sections. Klaus Kröll also took a slower approach. „I will wait until the second training run to take a more aggressive line on the Karusell, Steilhang, Hausberg and Traverse sections. The Traverse in particular is still pretty bumpy and difficult to manage with the changing light conditions."
