ARRIVING BY CAR
- DRIVING FROM VIENNA, SALZBURG AND MUNICH
Take the A1 motorway towards Salzburg, continue over the ”kleine Deutsche Eck - little German Corner“ to Lofer, head towards St. Johann in Tirol, “Großparkplatz - Large Car Park” Hahnenkamm Races in Oberndorf (between St. Johann and Kitzbühel). Take one of the free shuttle trains to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm railway station.
- DRIVING FROM SWITZERLAND, BOLZANO, VORARLBERG, INNSBRUCK
Take the Inntalautobahn motorway until the exit for Wörgl Ost, Brixentaler Bundesstrasse, via Hopfgarten, Brixen im Thale to the “Großparkplatz - Large Car Park” Hahnenkamm Races in Kirchberg in Tirol (before Kitzbühel). Take one of the free shuttle trains to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm railway station.
- DRIVING FROM EAST TIROL, STYRIA, CARINTHIA
Via Mittersill, Thurn Pass, Jochberg, “Großparkplatz - Large Car Park” Hahnenkamm Races in Kitzbühel Süd (South), from where it is an approx. 20-minute walk to the event grounds.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
- Official free parking is available in Oberndorf in Tyrol (coming from the Salzburg/Munich direction) and at Kirchberg in Tyrol (coming from Innsbruck). From there, Austrian Rail’s ”Hahnenkamm-Shuttle Train“ operates to and from the event venue.
- Another car park is available in "Kitzbühel Süd" (coming from Mittersill), from where it is an approx. 20-minute walk to the event grounds.
- The two car parks at Hahnenkammbahn cable car and Ganslern will be closed during Race Week. All other car parks belonging to the Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel Cable Car Co. are available to customers. Daily updated information can be found at www.kitzski.at
ARRIVING BY TRAIN
- If you are travelling by train, it is best to get off at Kitzbühel - Hahnenkamm station. From there it is about a two-minute walk to the finish area and Kitzbühel town centre.
- HAHNENKAMM-SHUTTLE: The ÖBB (Austrian Rail) Hahnenkamm Shuttle runs between the stations of Oberndorf in Tyrol and Kirchberg, shuttling you free of charge to and from the finish area at Kitzbühel - Hahnenkamm station.
- On presentation of a valid guest card from tourist regions in the Kitzbühel Alps (Hohe Salve, Brixental, St. Johann in Tirol and Pillerseetal), all ÖBB local trains from Wörgl to Hochfilzen can be used free of charge (except IC, EC and RailJet services). ARRIVING BY COACH
There are two parking areas available for coaches in Kitzbühel:
- Busparkplatz Schwarzsee (bus parking - 20-minutewalk from the event grounds)
Boarding the shuttle train possible (Schwarzsee station) - Busparkplatz Hauptbahnhof (main railway station - 15-minute walk from the event grounds)
