First Team Captain’s Meeting

The Hahnenkamm Week was traditionally opened with the first Team Captain’s Meeting, which always take place on the eve of the first training run. Race Director , Axel Naglich, rung the bell, which “announces” every Team Captain’s Meeting and welcomed the representatives of 15 teams with the words „Welcome home to Kitzbühel“. After the „Roll Call“ from Race Secretary, Peter Eder, Technical Delegate, Daniel Menestrin, addressed the trainers present and described the races at Hahnenkamm as the „most important in the FIS calendar“. Specific information was provided by FIS Chief Of Race, Markus Waldner, who praised the entire Piste Team led by Naglich and Huber from the K.S.C. for the „very, very good“ slope. Waldner also announced the programme for tomorrow, Tuesday: Due to the weather prognosis, which forecasts light snowfall for tomorrow lunchtime, the first training run has been brought forward to 11 hrs in the morning. Weather conditions will dictate whether the second training run will be held on Wednesday or Thursday.
