Forerunners test the Streif

Seven forerunners tested the slope today, because only then can the 78 Downhill racers from 15 countries begin their training session. The forerunners play a vital role: they test the race course and report to FIS on the course condition, jumps and visibility as soon as they enter the finishing area. They are the “silent stars” and an essential part of every race.
