From Friday: Early arrival strongly recommended
The ÖBB Hahnenkamm Express running every 7.5 minutes between Kirchberg in Tirol, Kitzbühel and Oberndorf on Friday, Saturday and Sunday takes ski fans quickly, comfortably and sustainably (almost) directly to the finish line. Those arriving by car are advised to park in the large car parks in Kirchberg or Oberndorf and hop on the Hahnenkamm Express. On Saturday, it is recommended to arrive very (!) early.
Visitors are strongly advised to use public transport to ensure smooth and relaxed travel to the Hahnenkamm Races. The ÖBB Hahnenkamm Express runs every 7.5 minutes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between Kirchberg in Tirol, Kitzbühel, Oberndorf and St. Johann in Tirol, taking fans quickly, comfortably and sustainably to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm railway station, which is only a few minutes' walk from the finish area.
- For those arriving by car, large car parks are available in Oberndorf and Kirchberg. From there, you can transfer to the Hahnenkamm Express. Visitors arriving from Munich, Salzburg or Vienna are requested to use the large car park in Oberndorf, while guests coming from Switzerland, Vorarlberg, Bolzano or Innsbruck should use the large car park in Kirchberg.
- It is particularly important to arrive early on Saturday, the day of the Downhill. To ensure a stress-free experience, visitors are strongly advised to arrive and park at the large park-and-ride car parks by no later than 9 hrs. Only then can a timely and relaxed arrival at the finish area be guaranteed.
- The free ÖBB Hahnenkamm Express, commissioned by the Hahnenkamm Race organisers, runs every 7.5 minutes between Kirchberg, Kitzbühel, Oberndorf and St. Johann in Tirol during peak times.
- An additional direct service from Innsbruck to Kitzbühel-Hahnenkamm is available on Saturday, departing at 7.52 hrs, offering a comfortable, congestion-free journey.
- The Organisers kindly ask all visitors to use the recommended travel services in order to reduce traffic congestion and ensure the smooth running of the event.
