OC Meeting: a very satisfactory Super-G – eager anticipation for the Downhill

“Simply incredible!“ – was the general consensus at the OC meeting for today’s Super-G. After a challenging night with lots of new snowfall, the fantastic teamwork of everyone involved made it possible for an exciting and fair competition to take place. The altered Super-G route did not detract at all from the euphoria – on the contrary: ”There were only positive impressions today“, said Kitzbühel’s Mayor and OC member, Klaus Winkler. An opinion obviously shared by today’s crowd of almost 15,000 spectators.

Eager anticipation for tomorrow’s Downhill is correspondingly high amongst the Organizing Committee.

 “Overnight, the cold will make the slope more compact. We are sure we can have the racecourse over the Hausberg“

...explained Michael Huber, president of the Kitzbühel Ski Club. The message for fans, athletes and teams is therefore very clear: We can all look forward to another exciting race tomorrow!
