The Winner’s Purse

The names of this year’s Hahnenkamm Race winners still rests in the lap of the gods. One thing, however, is already certain: whoever wins the Downhill or Slalom will be rewarded with a not-to-be-sniffed-at Euro 74,000 each. The winner of the Super-G receives Euro 55,000. Kitzbühel Ski Club is paying out a total of Euro 550,000 in prize monies.

Prize-money overview (gross):

Downhill and Slalom

  • 1st Place: Euro 74,000
  • 2nd Place: Euro 37,000
  • 3rd Place: Euro 18,500

Super-G

  • 1st Place: Euro 55,000
  • 2nd Place: Euro 27,750
  • 3rd Place: Euro 13,875

Today, Kitzbühel Ski Club, organizer of the Hahnenkamm Races, announced the prize money for the anniversary event in 2020. It is the highest purse ever awarded in the Alpine Ski World Cup.
